Welcome to the Merlin Owner's Club Web Site

Merlin +2

The Merlin is a Ford based, hand-built British sports car that was manufactured from 1980 to 1998 in Essex, England.

Although the car has been out of production for a while, but see below, it is still in demand and good second-hand models don't stay on the market for long (see our "Classifieds Page" for examples).
The Member's club is a thriving body, which is constantly active with a regular calendar of public shows and Merlin-only holiday weeks/weekends. Feel free to explore the site and you're welcome to come and join in - anytime.

Merlin Sports Cars is reincarnated!

Merlin Sports Cars has been bought and is about to go back into production with the Sierra based +2 and there are a lot more exciting prospects in the pipline. See www.merlinsportscars.co.uk

Update - December 2009

The re-introduction of the Merlin is coming along well though a little slowly. Our target is a re-launch at Stoneleigh 2010. To help develop and refine the jigs and moulds to the highest possible standards we are looking to buy a Sierra based Merlin. Ideally as an unstarted kit with the body and chassis though part complete or complete but a little tatty would be fine. If anyone has a car or kit they wish to sell or know of another member who has one, then we would be very pleased to hear from you via our Website www.merlinsportscars.co.uk or directly to me gb@merlinsportscars.co.uk Happy motoring. NEW FEATURE

New item - AGM and Committee Meeting Minutes, 2011.

We have decided to incorporate a 'Notice Board' within the Members' pages. This will be to keep members informed of any events forthcoming, requests for information, parts for sale/exchange, etc., without having to trawl through the separate sections in the hope of coming across something new!

Click here to logon to the members' area to have a look.
